The barn from Straumen has now been completely restored
The barn from Straumen in Norway has been completely restored with several extensive and necessary improvements. Traditional craftsmen Audun Eken, Eivind Vinger and Thomas Løken have restored the log building which is now secured for the future.
What Looks Good is Good
We have the pleasure of presenting new works in the collection in the Exhibition Room in the Museum Building. The purchased works are by the artists Ulla-Mari Brantenberg, Marit Tingleff, Ann-Cathrin November Høibo and Tron Meyer.

We are so lucky in Drammen that we have a unique cultural monument that is used by the city's population almost 150 years after it was built. A group of far-sighted citizens saw the potential that lay in Bragernesåsen.
On Saturday 2 June, we launched the 4th issue of the magazine MUSEET - this year with 4 pages of extra reading material.
What does the 20th century look like?
It is, of course, a hopeless question to answer, what a whole century looks like. And it must also be asked, when did the 20th century actually begin and when does it end?
