
Eivor Winther Sunesen employed as acting director

The board at Drammens Museum has decided to employ Eivor Winther Sunesen as acting director for the period 1.1.2023 to 31.12.2024. Eivor has been acting director at the museum since 1 July 2022. She has solid experience as deputy director at the museum and has been employed as finance and administration manager since autumn 2001.
An appointment committee with two internal and two external members has advised the board in the process. The board concluded that Eivor Winther Sunesen should be employed with a term of office of two years.
Her professional expertise and solid leadership experience from the sector make it entirely natural to hire her for a period to ensure continuity and immediate investment in important areas for the museum. Eivor Winther Sunesen enjoys great trust among the employees and has good contacts in the museum sector. She has been an enterprising and operative manager from day one and can already show good results in six months.
The board feels confident that Eivor Winther Sunesen is the right leader for Drammens Museum now.

Herbal bed at Hallingtunet
In the spring of 2020, we got a collaboration with Jasmin Women's Network, Women's Resource Center who wanted a meaningful activity once a week. The idea of a separate herb bed that they could plan and care for together was a strong wish from the women and we managed to get it in place in June 2020.
