Opening of Perspektiv Drammen - Artwork from the museum's collections

On 21 February, the exhibition "Perspective Drammen, artworks from the museum's collections" opened at the Drammen museum. Acting director Eivor Winther Sunesen welcomed the many present. The exhibition will run until 04 August 2024. Sunesen pointed out in his opening speech that this is an exhibition that welcomes everyone and especially Drammen residents who want to get to know the museum's collections, the area's development and Drammen artists.

In the Lyche pavilion, works with Drammen motifs and by artists connected to Drammen are on display.

Prospects from the 18th-19th centuries are displayed in the Museum building, starting from Drammen and neighboring areas. This part of the exhibition is a valuable contribution to Drammen's understanding of identity and the cultural-historical narrative of Drammen's development.
