Out in the open!
"Out in the open!" is a teaching program produced by Drammens Museum and is aimed at pupils in 5th - 7th grades. Drammen's Museum aims to arouse children's and young people's interest and curiosity in art and cultural history. With "Out in the open!" we come to school digitally to create good art experiences in the classroom too! The students will get to know the artist Hans Heyerdahl and his artwork. The students will work interactively and be inspired for their own creativity.

Out in the open can be used freely by all schools in all municipalities throughout the country. The teaching program is suitable for 5th - 7th grade, the junior high school can benefit from the offer, as part of the arts and crafts subject.
Drammen municipality has included the program in the cultural school bag for 6th grade, thus the program is mandatory for this grade.

PART 1 (25 min)
Watch the first 5 films that are ready on the museum's YouTube channel. Here it is just click on the page. These films are about the Drammen artist Hans Heyerdahl (1857-1913) and about how he became a renowned outdoor painter, with strong impulses from French outdoor painting and Impressionism.
PART 2 (65 min)
Quiz: In the second part, the students are activated through a quiz about the films (approx. 20 min). The students can be divided into groups and answer this quiz: https://forms.office.com/e/UGmT3KKEz8 (mark the link and right-click, then: go to https...)
Finally, they get an overview of how many answers they have completed. Then they can try again :)
Creative workshop: The sixth film is a proposal for a creative workshop, and shows you how to proceed step by step. (45 min)
