Drammen artists through 200 years
Drammen city celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2011. Drammen Kunstforening contributes to the anniversary celebration with the exhibition "Drammen artists through 200 years" which is shown in the Lyche pavilion at Drammens Museum 24 September 2010 to 30 January 2011.
The exhibition marks the prelude and is a fanfare for the city anniversary.
Drammen Kunstforening presents a magnificent pattern of 53 visual artists of national and local importance, all of whom are connected to Drammen in the period 1811-2011.
Drammen Kunstforening, founded in 1867, is one of the country's oldest art associations. Through numerous exhibitions, DKF has focused on good art and characterized the city's art scene for many generations.
"Blikk for Blix" is an etching that is published in connection with the Anniversary Exhibition.
the artist Inger Hagen has captured a street party from Strømsø, a district that is in the sign of change.
