The title Nye Blikk refers to the artists' view of the world, a view that they use to give shape to the images.
Therefore, it is not only a picture that refers to nature, human figures, ideas, emotions and moods the audience encounters in these pictures, it is also a look that appeals to everyone who visits the exhibition. This exhibition shows a selection of art that has been purchased for or received as a gift to Drammens Museum. The selection is made by the museum's director, Åsmund Thorkildsen, who is also the curator. The exhibition will show the diversity of techniques, motifs and styles that today exist side by side. There is painting, drawing, printing, collage, sculpture and a lot of photography.
