The November exhibition 2022

The November exhibition is an annual exhibition organized by Buskerud Bildende Kunstnere in collaboration with Drammens Museum. Anyone who lives in, or has a connection to, what was formerly known as Buskerud, can submit works. All art categories are wanted, including artists in performance art and sound art etc

The exhibition is judged by board members of BBK plus two external jury members appointed by the board. Applications for the November exhibition take place in 2 rounds, first by digital submission via e-mail, then, for those who go on, by submission of works for the 2nd judging. Those who are accepted after the 2nd jurying must be prepared to deliver a small text describing the work, to help the art mediators at the museum.

No reason is given for refusal.

The jury in 2022 consists of: Kari Anne Helleberg Bahri (jury chairperson), Nina Toft, Mona Sundelius, Trond Sebastian Rusten, Julio Fernandez da Silva.

The exhibition is held in Drammens Museum's premises, Lychepaviljongen in accordance with current infection control regulations. At the opening, the award "Most striking work of the year" and "Debutante of the year" will be awarded. Both awards are judged by NBK's national jury.

The board of BBK sees the November exhibition as its most important single event. Here, the audience meets the county's professional artists side by side with debutants and others who are on the threshold of an artistic career.

The exhibition is supported by Buskerud County Municipality and Drammen Municipality.

Welcome to apply, and good luck!

The board of BBK
