Drammen Art Association's exhibition 2015

Drammen artist Bjørn Hauge (born 1918) fills the Lyche pavilion with paintings from a career that started over 80 years ago. The exhibition shows paintings and drawings with the main emphasis on production from the eighties and nineties. Bjørn Hauge was for many years intendant in the Drammen Art Association and cultural secretary in Drammen Municipality. He is one of the few painters who still continues a tradition in Norwegian 20th century painting. Many of his figurative images are taken from the areas around the city and convince with their clear air, beautiful color composition and accurate depictions.
