Meeting point Museum
"Møteplass Museet" is an informal meeting place for multicultural groups of children and adults!
This is an open offer where multicultural associations, school classes such as adult education receives a free, dialogue-based tour where we bring in an interpreter as needed. Groups are welcome to come several times.
We use the old houses on Marienlyst, with a visit to Torpostua, and the exhibitions, "Glimmer og gavn" and "Gjenstander for lifet", related to town and rural folk art and objects from the 17th - 19th centuries, but we can also take you with us in one of our changing exhibitions!
Afterwards, there will be social gatherings with coffee and something to eat.
