Lunchtime viewing: Lystgården Marienlyst

Lystgården Marienlyst is a complete pleasure farm from the end of the 18th century. It is this that has given its name to the entire district of Marienlyst.

Get to know the pleasure garden better when we open this morning.

Who owned a pleasure farm, and what did they do there? And how can it be that pleasure gardens were located in peace and quiet in the countryside, when this is located in the middle of Strømsø?

We enter the pleasure garden itself, look at the original tapestries and afterwards experience the historic garden with all its magnificent flowers, bushes and trees on the outside.

Take a friend with you or come alone, and have an art break with a cultural refill with one of our mediators. We meet at the reception at the Museum building.
