Lunchtime screening: "Amusement Park Sensations" by Mona K. Lalim

Welcome to a lunch tour of "Lystgårdsfornemmelser" – the exhibition by Mona K. Lalim on November 26th! The exhibition is inside the venerable Marienlyst farm.

NB! Due to the upper limit on capacity, we ask that everyone purchase tickets in advance. You can buy tickets for this lunch tour here.

"Art makes the invisible visible."

The inspiration for the exhibition in Drammens Museum arose from the encounter with the historical rooms in the Marienlyst pleasure farm. By studying the different stylistic eras of the East Wing, which are shown in color stairs and wallpaper layers, the works for the exhibition "Pleasure Farm Sensations" have been created.

Classic oil paintings, sections of antique architectural details, concrete photographs and three-dimensional objects are set in dialogue with the unique character of the manor house.

By moving from the Viewing Room in the museum's main building and into the East Wing's living rooms, the audience will get a visual sense of the artistic process, where the intention is to portray the quintessence of the encounter between past and present.

Welcome to the lunch tour!

NB! Due to the design of the old farmstead, it may be challenging for visitors with functional challenges. Please contact us if you have any questions, and we will be happy to find solutions.
