Cultural Heritage Days 2026: Drop-in presentations

We are of course participating in the Cultural Preservation Days from 5-13 September, and we look forward to showcasing various types of craft traditions during these days. We invite you to drop-in presentations where everyone is welcome to drop by.

Want to learn more about linseed oil paint?

Then you can come to the drop-in at Gulskogen farm on September 7th from 2-6 pm. Here we will be together with Gulskogen farm's friends and cultural heritage advisor Cecilie Marie Ski Breen from WSP Norway. 

Want to learn more about lime painting? 

The Austad Farm Friends Association has learned how to paint with lime paint on walls. Stop by and watch them apply a new coat, and have a nice chat! They will be there on September 8th and 10th from 12-2pm. 

Want to learn more about drywall? 

On September 13th from 12-3pm you can come and see how drywall is being built and the foundation for a new stove and chimney is being laid inside the living room at Numedalstunet at the Open Air Museum! This is arranged by the Friends' Association for the Open Air Museum and master bricklayer Roy Holmvik from Roys murenserservice.
