Narcissism in women and men

Sigmund Wiggen Karterud (born 13 June 1945) is a professor of psychiatry at the University of Oslo and a chief physician at the Department of Personality Psychiatry at Oslo University Hospital. He is also the Norwegian representative on the council of the International Society for the Study of Personality Disorders.

Karterud has written a large number of research publications, as well as textbooks in psychoanalytic self-psychology, group psychotherapy and personality disorders.
