Free admission to Drammens Museum on March 8th!

It's Drammen Winter Festival and Women's Day, and Drammen Museum welcomes everyone to the exhibitions!

There are several strong women's stories in the museum's collections.

IN The Permanent Gallery There is a picture of Lucy Vidil.

The multi-artist, nude model and professional dancer was admired by many. "A legendary model", it was said. Her husband Per Krogh, the painter Jules Pascin and Lucy ended up in a love triangle that had a dramatic end. Is this the drama that we see unfolding in Per Krogh's painting, Le Rue de Cagnes?

In the Lychpaviliongen we have a new exhibition with objects from Alfthan Juel's collection. There, the beautiful Apolonia Müller smiles mysteriously like a Mona Lisa at us. Her portrait hangs between the portraits of her twin brothers. What do you think caused this mischievous smile?
