Åsmund Thorkildsen will leave this summer
Åsmund Thorkildsen (b. 1954) will retire this summer as CEO after more than 20 years in the executive chair at Drammens Museum. He goes on to work as an independent researcher, curator, consultant and with professional development projects. Thorkildsen would like to warmly thank partners and the eventually large and loyal audience who have found joy and challenges by visiting the museum's facilities, exhibitions, publications, cultural evenings, discussions and not least the digital communication and visual communication that particularly accelerated during the pandemic.
In addition to museum director Åsmund Thorkildsen, we are 10 employees at Drammens Museum who work in various ways to ensure that our audience is met with a comprehensive and varied museum offer.
Sparebankstiftelsen DNB is the most important supporter of Drammens Museum outside the public awards.
